The Surah Rehman is a list of forty-eight verses from the Holy Quran, used by Muslim as their ultimate source of guidance. It is derived from several sources and was composed in the early centuries of the third millennium after the Holy Prophet's time.

The Surah Rehman can be divided into three sections: I, II and III. The wording of each section varies and many Muslims interpret the same Surah differently but all believe that all the verses in the Surah are equal in value and relevance to the interpretation of the Holy Quran.

In the Quran the Surah of the Quranic verses tells how to live a life of faith. It is not a mere list of rules to be followed but rather a guide to a set of rules. The rules to follow are the commandments of Allah. To live in accordance with the commandments and the teachings of Allah is to live life to the fullest.

The Surah of the Quranic verses contains four sections, namely the opening verse, seven Ayahs, fourteen verses, the Table of Contents and the closing verse. The Ayahs narrate the history of the Koran, as told to the Prophet by Allah. The Ayahs tell the stories of the prophets, the Holy Koran and its verses of the recitation. In the opening Surah, Allah states that He was pleased with the deeds of His creation.

The Surah lists the things we need to do in order to live a life of faith. It tells us what we must do and how we must live, the difference between right and wrong and provides us with an ideal standard of behavior. The Surah tells us that we have to find peace in our lives and is a guide to do so.

Each Surah contains different themes and there are seventy-two in all. The purpose of the Surah, after all the translations and interpretations are taken into account, is to teach us how to live a life of faith by teaching us how to follow Allah's commands.

All the verses in the entire Surah are equal and are used to inspire and instruct believers. The Surah of the verses is not a rule book. The Surah is not written to direct or guide us in doing good deeds, nor does it come with a set of rules that we must follow. Rather the Surah is a guide to living a life of faith.

The Surah can be separated into sections and one can use the material in any way they want, even interpret each section differently. The words of the Surah are divine and don't have any literal meaning but rather a teaching and an inspiration to live life to the fullest.
